What was the highlight of BG Caballero
Nice hotel near the beach
Nice rooms, good location near the beach. The staff is very friendly. They were kind enough to give us an upgrade to a suite, but we couldn't stay there as there was a bad smell.
There is a smell of the sewer outside on some days and there was the same smell in the first room they gave us, so we had to switch rooms.

What was the highlight of BG Caballero
Pleasant stay, good hotel
We stayed for 5 nights and everything was fine. We liked staff who were very friendly, the location in proximity of beach. The breakfast was also good, with local specialities but also with classic meal. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the most we liked the balcony, which was large and had a nice view of the swimming pool and palms.

it was fine
location, parking.dining room staff, house keeping
Wait for elevator, only 2 available. Late arrival at 9pm could not avail of half board paid as dining ended at 9pm - although observed that many guests remained dining long after our 9pm arrival. After travelling for a substantial number of hours not a great experience. Took advice on where to dine, advised to dine locally -from a hotel we booked and were staying in - , only to get food poisoning from said establishment. Asked about where to get supplies & drinking water and advised to go to local supermarket. Observed on the following evening, towards the end of dinner service, chef and member of management on the dining room floor appeared to be closely observing guests and raising eyebrows by what guests were selecting at the buffet counter. All that said, dining room staff and housekeeping work very hard and do a great job.
